i have a 5 volt preout kenwood and fosgate 501s amp. ihave the gain set at min.and my nonfading volume at 13 out of 15,would it make a difference in the bass if i turn up the gain and lower the nonfading volume? also is the remote bass acting as a gain also. thanks
The remote bass knob functions solely as a bass boost, and if you use it you'll have to adjust the gain to compensate. It won't really change anything about the bass to set the nonfader volume down and the gain up, you'll just be swapping around.
