Okay. So I've had my subs for about a year now. I have a pioneer head unit, insignia 1600w amp, and 2 12" insignia subs. I've never had any problems with them but a couple of weeks ago my subs started breaking up. It would play bass reallly rapidly when there was no music playing and it would play bass along with road noise (bumps and such) then out of no where. When I turn on my car this morning. My amp was off. I checked all the wires and can't find the problem. The end of the power and ground that get hooked up to the amp reads 12v when hooked up to the multimeter. The remote turn on wire is also reading 12v-13v when multimetered. Any ideas on what's wrong with it?
