Ok, I recently installed a 4 channel amp on my factory head unit. I used a LOC. I'm getting a static on low volume. All of my grounds are in the trunk, grounded to bare metal, self tapping screws. All of my grounds ohm out perfectly (ground to ground ground to chassis and ground to battery terminal). The loc is also grounded to the chassis. It is also in the trunk (factory amp was located in trunk). I have tried running a line from battery and daisy-chained amp to amp (I also have a sub amp) to loc. Still a static. I have ordered a 4 channel ground loop isolator, but hasn't arrived yet. I do not have any power wire running near RCAS or speaker wires. Ground isolator I hope fixes the problem. Anyone have any problem with this? If so a fix? I'm looking worst case scenario of the isolator does not fix my problem. Ground head unit chassis to car chassis?
