Non-Tinned Power Wire for Big 3 Upgrade

Looking to do the big 3 upgrade before I drop my new system in my car.

Welding cable is much cheaper than the 0 gauge power wires sold for car audio. The only difference seems to be that welding cable is not tinned and the higher end car audio cables are tinned (and maybe a minor difference in size).

So the decision is between the Knukonceptz 0 Gauge Kollosus Flex wire vs. some regular 0 gauge welding cable sold at the local welding supply store.

Im just worried about how much corrosion will play a factor here. I dont want the wire to corrode and and increase resistance in a couple years and ruin the whole purpose of this upgrade. There is a big difference in price though so I just wanna get some opinions on this subject.

stick with OFC, not CCA. that and the more strands the better. those are the two things to watch.

Yeah man, just spend the little extra for the OFC, check out sites like CACO or DIYMA's classified section to find some for less than msrp
