Hey guys,

I'm looking at these 3 sets of components right now to throw into my S10, wondering if anyone here has experience with any of them?

The Focal's can be had for $180 shipped right now, used. I've heard the entry level Focals aren't that great though. Lots of good reviews on the Polks, can be had for $250 shipped brand new, and waiting to hear back about the HATs as there is only 1 authorized dealer in Canada.

Will be powering them with an MB Quart ONX 4.80 most likely. Haven't decided if I'm going to run 4 channels or bridge to power the one set of components yet, bridged power is 320w x 2 so I think if I'm careful with the gain I can try to set it for 200ish.

Yes the Access series from Focal are far from great, the Polyglass series are where it all starts.

If the Polks you mention are these:

Then yes you can power them with the amp bridged, those are high sensitivity so will get really loud at 125W per side. Also hit lower notes well for their size.

Similar set of polks, here though:

The amp I'm looking at is going to be the ONX 4.60 I'm thinking, will bridge it for 240x2 to power components.. If MB Quart had a 2x125w amp I would grab that but they dont lol

Those you mention are also 125W per side, you could pick this one 120W per side:
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_26850_JL-Audio-J2-360.2-J2360.2.html

It's a better amp, is best offer, I say offer $109 and they will take it.

Or this very cheap at $89, 200W per side bridged:

Just watch your gains a little.

Yeah fair enough, I've got an MB Quart ONX1500D already and I want matching amps though, that other MB Quart you mentioned doesnt have the nice piano finish on it :P

Regardless, I'll just be careful with my gains..

Back to speakers..
