I will take a stab at this (all + ship)

HDC12 = $260
IMAX12 = $375
MAG (assuming D2? and also hard to get recone parts for these anymore) = $250

Id really like to have that idmax,but its a little more than i wanna spend. Whats the lowest you will consider for the hdc shipped(15010)?

I really do want it sean,but i had a couple things myself that were supposed to sell that fell through so im kinda straped for cash at the moment. If something changes i will definatly let you know. I may still be intersested in the hdc tho.

what version mag is it? if it was the xbl^2 version id be all over it but its not. very good prices though. free bump.

The one paul posted is not the xbl^2 thats probally a gen 2. I was thinking si only offered the xbl^2 gen 4 mag in 12's but could be wrong. Also the xbl^2 version the motor is built into the basket to make it shallow as possible.

To date the Mag is the best sub I've ever owned. Period. Not saying it's the BEST sub out there but for my intentions the Mag did her job EXTREMELY well. I've owned an Eclipse and I also currently use an 18" Q for my HT.


Bottom line? I wish I had my mag back.

It's a tough call but SI nailed it.


I only wish I could've owned/used/experienced the legendary AVA for my HT use.

After all, in life, we're all just moving air right lol?

the ava was a beast owned the 30hz an down region. I got its little brother the atlas chillin right next to me lol.

The one Paul posted a picture of is a V3, which is the same version Sean has. The V3 does not have the xbl^2 technology and was available in either 12" or 15". The V4 featured the shallow mount and the xbl^2 technology and was only available in 12".

I won't lie, the Mag V3 is my favorite sub to date. Nothing against the RL-s at all but the Mag was just the perfect sub for me.

thanks for the clear up yanks. The xbl^2 mag is very rare but is considered by a lot to be the best sq sub out. The gen 2 n 3 mags are very nice also though. Someone needs to swipe this up fast.

No problem Dustin. I haven't heard the V4 so I can't comment on it but if the SQ was better than the V3 (as advertised) then it should have been a pretty solid sub. I still regret selling my V3.

Come to think of it....my friend has my V3 right now so I'm see if I can get it back cause he's not using it lol.

ya the gen 4 is strickly sq sub. they only came in dvc2 i think so the ts specs would be the same no matter what, and it has an LE of like .3 or something crazy low like that. spl wise though it fails, but then agian thats not what it was designed for.

I ended up not having to sell my idmax or the 1000 watt dayton rack amp so i am going to keep them for a future home theater sub build....the stereo integrity mag 15 dual 2 ohm sub is still up for sale though
