Wire the subs in parallel/parallel to get a 1.5ohm load like in the top diagram

http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=2&I=62

An just bridge it to the amp

Yea bridge it to mono. It would be - from one channel + from the other. It should be labeled somewhere on there. Dont know much about ma,but your only going to get around 400wrms to each sub, which is about half there rms. Im sure they will sound fine on that, but you could go bigger on an amp if you didnt buy it already.

I have an o2 900.2 OA900.2 amp would this be better. also i thought i would push more power in a 1.5 ohm load since the max power would be 1000 at 1 ohm or am i looking at this wrong

Yea it would be the other way,it would be slightly less. It does 750wrms @ 2ohms an 1000wrms @ 1ohm so it would probly do between 800 an 900wrms im guessing

why did you get 6 ohm coil subs and only buy 2?
6 ohm coils are designed to run in sets of 3 speakers for a 2 ohm load.

I have had these subs for years and didnt know any better... now that im older and have more knowledge about them... now i know... but I want to at least push them with the mono block to the best potential that i have with the equipment i have. So hopefully this should do and reading online it seems that these subs are good when pushed properly

be aware that very few amps made will be stable @ 1.5 ohms if the amp is stereo and it's bridged. A bridged stereo amp presented with a 1.5 ohm load will see 0.75 ohms, so to speak, and will most likely shut down and go into thermal protection immediately.

after checking the amp it is a monoblock amp stable at 1ohm 1000RMS supposedly... after checking the specs online.
