Silver Member Username: PerfectcircleNaptown, Indy Post Number: 172 Registered: Feb-10 | I am putting a cheap setup in my girlfriends car. i am going with a refurb diamond d6 15. the speakers i'm looking at are a refurb set of d6 components. they cost around 160. i will be using a ss pca 520.2. just wondering if anyone can recommend them or have an opinion on them. i'll take suggestions for other 6.5 component sets around the same price point also. |

Unless your GF is a total bass-head though, I'd go with something smaller in her car than a fifteen. Consider a single 10" or 12" max. Most women don't really like tremendous amounts of bass, and if she lets you put this stuff in her car, she's doing it more to appease you than out of her own desire for it. |

Silver Member Username: PerfectcircleNaptown, Indy Post Number: 175 Registered: Feb-10 | Good point glass. but this is the one instance out of a hundred where a woman can take a boat load of spl. i have a 15" mag in my civic sealed, and the 2 21" wardens in the tahoe. she can handle a ton more then me. i'm an old man at 32. she is late 20's and really likes her music loud. plus i drive her car every couple days. its a win win lol |
