I was going to buy a refurb diamond 15" off ebay. The d3 is 109 and the d6 is 169. I used to have a d6 10" back in the day. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them. the rms of the d3 is 400 and the d6 is 750. For my girlfriends car. will be running the sub with an old soundstream pca2 760. Just trying to get an opinion if the d6 is worth the extra 60 bucks. Thanks guys.

Yes it is very worth it. Get the D6. $169 shipped is a great deal for a factory refurb and V&M is legit too. A good number of these "refurbs" are actually unopened customer returns or store/trade show display units. If the driver saw any power, almost all companies will install a new motor assembly, and especially Diamond. And in the case of both types of refurbs, the factory runs the whole battery of tests on them for a second time, which makes them in some ways better than a new one off the shelf.
