2 12" type r's for 50 bucks? should i buy?

" Um, yea, my thought is don't... sounds like you're not aware, amps can be damaged when the speakers they're driving blow... depending on what kind of protection circuitry the amp has and how good it is. sometimes the coil of the speaker can melt in such a way that it loses most resistance and essentially gives you a short across the speaker terminals... amps do not like that
