hey everyone i have 2 10" kicker comps and i am wondering if yall can help me out with giving me advise on what amp would be the best for my 2 subs.
heres some info on the subs them self
•10" 4-ohm subwoofer
•power handling: 50-150 watts RMS
•peak power handling: 300 watts
•frequency response: 30-500 Hz

thanks! and i dont really have a budget at the moment im jus trying to get some advise on amps and get an idea on which ones would be best suitable for my little system.
and i have a question, since i have 2 subs with a peak of 300 watts would i want to get a amp with 300 watts power or 600? and would i want a mono amp or a 2 channel? sorry im new to car audio im just 17 and would like to get some help from the people on this forum.

RMS is what is important. You'll need an amp that will produce 300 rms. Go with a mono block amplifier. If those are single 4 ohm woofers, then together they're going to run at 2 ohm. You'll need an amplifier that will produce 300 rms at a 2 ohm load. Shouldn't be very expensive at all. You could also go with an amp that will produce a little more power at 2 ohm than 300 rms to give yourself a little head room. That way if voltage drop occurs, you'll still be getting a clean 300 rms.

Theyare both dual coil .. So will i need a amp at 4 ohm?
And the amp will need to be 300 watts at 4 ohm?

Oh excuse me I got confused with the coils they are both sing coil
