well im getting rid of my 15 and will be looking for a pair of 12's for around 500 maybe a little more will be running on my rd 1750.1 just need some suggestions thanks guys

Pretty good suggestions above. Besides those sundown sa 12s. Dc level 3s possibly level 4s.

For the record I really like how clean the dc sounds level 3's sound sq wise and they can get decently loud....dont be afraid to run more power than they are rated they will be fine

ps....one guy listened to my brothers dc level 3 and decided to get them over alpine type r's because he said the dc's got lower than the alpines

i actually prefer type Rs & RE SE over dc L3 but thats just me ...

type r's are not sq subs... their budget spl subs that sounds good..

the re se overall are sq oriented.....

abd sc audio well like rovin said really???

dude you just cant compare a type r with a dc audio lvl 3

thats like comparing my tahoe to M.S 88 blazer side by size

eh ? - spl u say ? .... type R \ L3 \ SE IMO falls into that "sql" bracket

all 3 in my book are great subs but that was just my personal preference above - u cant go wrong with any of them though ...

i got 2 type r's 12 inches.. they run superb... i have em hooked up to PPI PC 1800 AMP oldschool baby!!!

This was before I caulked the box with silicone, now they hit like a champ in my Altima. Hifonics brutus 1206.D amp that is powering them

like i said type r's are BUDGET SPL subwoofers THAT SOUNDS nice..

for the money their really great... i would take some pgs over them any day... since they are cheaper and better sounding.. but if you really like alpine you cant go wrong with them

well im looking for something comparable to the older set of si bms that i had so if anyone has a suggestion that would be similar or better maybe the dc level 3s or the 4s
