Sunday, June 06, 2010 - 18:25 GMT so they are dual 4 ohm voice coils wired to one ohm? if so then you need an amp that does 1200wrms at 1 ohm. http://www.edesignaudio.com/product_info.php?cPath=1_22&products_id=44 http://www.audioque.com/aq/?page_id=26 http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/store/products/Sundown-Audio-SAE%252d1200Dv2. html

Sunday, June 06, 2010 - 18:38 GMT Did he get the w1s? Thats the second link. If so they're single 4 ohms and together would need a 2 ohm load seeing 700 rms. If on a budget the AQ1200D would do alright, maybe adjust the gain down just a little. If he doesnt mind spending a little more he could do a JL 750/1, turning down the gain a little as well. Theyre about $445 online.
