In these various price ranges what do you think are the best Sound Quality Speakers. My personal situation is an Alpine CDA-9820XM Head Unit with a Rockford 851X Amp (advertised 4x110w). This is in an 04 F350 Crew Cab.

That would be a list of about 30 of my favorite driver sets, which I'm not about to post for giggles.

How much do you want to spend, install and all, and what is more important to you -- quality or boom?

Matt,

I am leaning to the upto $500.00 a pair Retail Value. I want the best sound quality possible for my Crew Cab Superduty.

What I would do:

Front: Focal 165 V3E ($390) or 270 V3 ($550, if the doors are deep enough to accommodate 6"), professional install will run about $200-$300 (serious adjusting will be involved, so use a quality shop).

Rear:
Focal 136K ($300). Set the tweeter to at least -6dB. This will provide decent listening levels for rear passengers without significantly affecting your front stage.
