(Question 1) Hifonics, or kicker? Do they still sell the older kicker 1000zx?

If it was your system what amp would you buy regardless of budget or brand choice?

Not looking for something off the wall expensive but if it means overall sound quality and performance I will dish out the extra dollars.

Thanks for the help.
_________ _________ __________ __________

(OffThreadPoint:Question 2)Also are there any subs in the same price range as the type r's that are equivalent to there performance. Any thing you would get besides type r's for around that price?

Yeah don't listen to this guy ^

Doesn't seem to know what he's doing.

What is the VC configuration on the Type R's? The Kicker is 2 ohm stable but the Hifonics is 1 ohm stable.

I'd go with a aq 1200 or a sundown sae 1200 both 1 ohm stable. The majority of kickers are 2 ohm stable and u have 2 4 ohm subs which will give u the option wire to a 1 or 4 ohm load. Don't waste ur time with the hifonics amp.

uh huh..yup..either way i really dont care.. even a walmart system is better than a stock system..it doesnt really matter what any of us are running. the only person that has to care about it is the person that owns the car. i dont like kicker audio, i prefer hifonics to alpine, i cant afford rockford..you guys wanna trash me, go ahead i dont care.
