Hey guys.

I am running a fully loaded BTL 15 on a sundown SAZ-1500d amp wired at .5ohm.

My question is, how long can the alternator support it. Its just the stock one, as I dont have money for a better one yet. I do have a yellow top that is powering it though. The alternator I have now is 80 amps I think.. I have been told that it will be fine as long as it doesnt run for hours at a time..

Next question, I was gonna get prolly a 200 or 240 amp alt next. Think thats good enough?

Watts = voltz X amps. Take your 80 amp alt, multiply by 12v and you get 960 watts of generation. Don't forget all the other electrical necessities the vehicle needs to even run. God forbid you even use the AC. That alt is indeed way undersized for a 1500w anything. The 200-240amp alt is your next best friend.
