i am about to get an RD 3250.1 for two alphas and I am putting a Diamond Audio D5 600.2 on my comps.

i was wondering if a mechman 250A alt would be enough.

any other suggestions?

thanks in advance

250 amps should be enough with a good battery. But I haven't seen anyone running a HO alt from that company so I would have to be skeptical of them, does it actually do claimed power, at what RPM, etc.

im not sure on that - kevin holden sells them i believe and steve at RD recommended them

seems to be a good company with good CS by googling around

worth a try if its enough

hunterw is running a mechman alt, he knows his stuff, I'd personally go with his advice (not that it was given here, just letting you know he has one in his mazda pickup)
