can some one tell me what i should get on my BL? i don't want to get something if i wont be able to tell a difference.
i am getting 2 of them powered by an aq 2200
Ohm: dual 1 dual 2
P Chamfer: no yes +$10
Cooling: no yes +$40
Flatwind: no yes +$20
Daily or SPL: Daily SPL
Extreme Lead: no yes +$5
Universal

i want dual 2 ohms i think
but the extreme lead and flatwind i have no idea what that is.
i think they are all universal.
the p champer and cooling i am guessing keeps it from getting hot but is it worth 40 bucks if i am using that amp? will it be alright if i just get it with out any upgrades? i mean for 20 or 30 bucks sure but i don't want to spend 150 extra on these 2 subs if i wont be able to tell a difference

P Chamber and cooling - for cooling purposes

Flatwind - helps handling the power better I believe

Pick Daily, no to extreme lead, maybe on universal.

Pick universal if you think you might want to recone them from d2 to d1 or d1 to d2. So thats up to you.

common man, read the website!

"Extreme Lead: ONLY choose this option if you plan to use the woofer for SPL ONLY applications. This option tends to yield really bad tinsel slap and rubs holes in the spiders (especially on the 10's and 12's) it is not intended on using in a daily driving scenario."

Dual 1 VC so you can wire them to 1ohm Series & Parallel. If you do Dual 2VC you can only wire them at 2, .5, and 8.

its be cuz u have two subs if you were only doin one sub and u wanted 1ohm u would want 2DVC. if that amp can handle .5ohm and ur alt can handle it go with two 2DVC. but if you new to this just make it easy and get 2 1DVC sub's and it will run at a 1ohm

"do u think the aq2200 can handle .5 ohms?"

No, it can not. DJ has been asked that question several times lol. Just run it at 1 ohm and you will be fine.

ok thanks nick!

i looked at the specs and it says that the sensitivity of the hdc315s are 91.532 dB and the hdc18s are only 89.8 dB.

does this mean that the 15 inch hdcs are louder than the 18 inch hdcs?
