if it is a single voice coil 8 ohm then that is your only option, 8 ohms.
if it is dual voice coil then you can wire it to 4 ohms

yes its dual and i could wire it 4ohm and at 1ohm. I want to know if the amp will be stable at 1ohm or if there is any risk in wiring it at 1ohm.

lol how many subs dvc 8ohm subs you have if its one than you can only wire it to a 16 ohm or a 4 ohm load not 1 ohm meaning you can't run the amp at 1ohm so it would have to be at 4 ohms which is enough for that one sub

Are you sure its dual 8ohm?

I know JL made single 4/8ohm and dual 1.5,2,3,4,6ohm. But i dont think they made dual 8ohm.

first stop using dvc.... dvc is a sub haveing duel voice coils your subs are not dvc..
and to hook your subs up for a 4 ohm load you wire the + of one sub to the + of the other then the - of one to the - of the other...
then to hook it to your amp take the + of one of the sub to the + of amp then take the - of the same one to the - of the amp

Ya I know. I was totally wrong. I thought they were dual and I went out 2 wire them 2 my car and realized they only had one set of terminals. I feel retarded. I didn't realize they changed the W3 to SVC. Makes a lot more sense now and sry for the confusion.

they will be ok off 225 watts they will get you could save for another amp if you don't like the output
