chad i didnt want to start a new thread but i figured this would get your attention.
You probly saw my other thread with the btl intsall but it isnt nearly as loud as i expected it to be. Its getting 200rms but another friend of mine has a type-r and its just about as loud and i was wondering how your BTLs sounded and if they were plenty loud. I guess it could be the box i built for the BTL thats making it the way it is but its 4.2 net tuned at 33hz. just about 60sq of port. i was wondering if you had any thoughts
double and triple checked settings. gain is perfect and set with a dmm. box dimensions are 28" wide 19" tall 20" deep *(those are the rough dimensions off the top of my head)
about how much excursion did yours have? and did they get louder as they broke in?
like i expected the BTL to have my 9515 a run for its money but i was a little disaponted with the BTL. i think i may take my 9515 out of my box and put in the BTL and hook it up to the AQ 2200D and see if i get better reults...thats the only thing i can think of mabey the box isnt ideal or something along those lines.
^^ thats the risk u gotta take sometimes with car audio... sometimes u mite b satisfied with what you had b4, n may not be satisfied with what u just bought to replace it....
