ok i have a prefab box for 2 12 that is ported, i bought this a while back, and i'm thinkin of ordering two 12's, no nidea which ones, but i don't really want it ported no more, say i got a piece of wood and screwed it over the port, would that be considered a 'sealed' box then??, because i jsut wnat a normal sealed box

You could do that but I would not recommend it. Ported enclosures are going to be bigger then sealed enclsores. So if you seal the port you are going to have a real large sealed enclosure. That could sound even worse.
