I have check several port calculators using the same specifications from the same woofers or box volume or tuning frequency and none of them come up with the same information.

Wow, that could get confusing.

I've checked:

http://www.carstereo.com/help2/Articles.cfm?id=31

http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp#por

http://www.ajdesigner.com/phpvent/subwoofer_vent_port_equation_length_l.php

http://mobile.jlaudio.com/support_pages.php?page_id=165

http://www.subwoofertools.com/forum/ported-box.asp

None end up with the same information.

Which one is correct????

yeh, that's what I'm starting to think...not an exact science.

I think I'll make my own port calculator...something like...

IQ x .69 divided by # of girlfriends in the last year=sq" port area...lol

I might go to watch and see, but certainly not to enter. I have to save up for a better system...maybe enter something next year. I'm only about 2 1/2 hours away...6 hours is a good drive.
