E46 M3 Head unit and IBUS

I am going to put a system in an E46 M3 with Mcintosh amps and Focal components and subs. I need some help. I want to use the OEM GPS head. Can I hook it up to the cars IBUS? Can I hook it up to a diferent GPS system?
