Ive just purchased an Eclipse SW9152 Titanium 15" subwoofer, being powered by a rockford 1001bd Power amp. Of course, Eclipse leaves the mystery of cubic box volumes for their products a mystery for the consumer. Anyone have some worthy suggestions?

sure.
for a 15", if you go sealed, try about 2 to 2.5cu ft.
for ported, 3cu ft, and 6" ID port, and tune it to around 30Hz.

nice sub

6"ID means 6" interior diameter for a round port..

or, you can figure out the surface area a 6" round port and make a slot port with the same surface area

personally, i prefer slot ports - easier to integrate when building the box

Alrighty, thanks.. But if its 6 inches in diameter, what is the length of it? Cuz that does matter right, in tuning?

the length will depend on the box volume after driver displacement

Go to www.eclipse-car.com its all about boxes. Good luck and make sure to scroll all the way down. The page is long.
