Are these numbers decent enough to power 2 4ohm dvc Kicker Cvx 12s.

A two channel amp.

2 x 600 Watts RMS at 4 Ohms
2 x 1200 Watts Max at 4 Ohms
1 x 2400 Watts Max at 4 Ohms Bridged
2 x 1000 Watts at 2 Ohms RMS
Electronic Crossover Network
Bass Boost Circuit
Variable Phase Shift Control
2 Ohms Stereo Stable
Anti-Thump Turn-On
Soft Turn On/Off
High & Low Level Inputs
Blue Light Illuminated Crossover Control
Power & Protection LED Indicators
Advanced Protection Circuitry
Bass Boost Remote Control
T.H.D: 0.04%
S/N Ratio: 90dB
Channel Separation: 65dB
Frequency Response: 15Hz- 35kHz
Dimensions: 10.47"W x 2.46"H x 19"L

I didn't put the brand because i'm not interested in whether someone thinks it's crap and i should spend more. I'll upgrade the quality later.

Simple answer no. Each sub needs 750rms you need an amp that puts out 1500 rms @ 1 ohm. If money is an issue, look into hifonics amps.

you DO NOT need a 1 ohm mono, a 2 ohm stable stereo is fine for 2 4ohm dvc subs.

that is a bit much power, if you do use that amp, keep the gains way down. CVRs are rated for 500w rms i think, and you'd be setting them up on double that which if you dont know what you're doing, you would be setting yourself up for having a pair of blown subwoofers

oh and they dont NEED 750w rms. it all depends on the box you have. the bigger the box, the less power required to push the sub to its mechanical limits. power ratings are generally thermal. but they are guidelines mostly. you dont NEED to be exact and you dont NEED a mono amp at 1 ohm.

just be careful with your gains. dont use them as a volume control PLEASE

just curious, what amp did you have the specs for? that 2 channel in orig post

yeah i saw after that. but my points still hold true. they dont need exactly rated power to reach mechanical limits nor does overpowering them mean they will blow.

like i said, it all depends on the box you have them in

Your point does stand if you knew the size of box he intends of using. Without that info you're under powering them. We should find out what type of box?

It was a lanzar amp. And i figured since i've seen a lot of people say that generally budget amps don't put out what they say, that the 2 x 1000 rms would be a lil closer to the 750 if not lower. And yeah i've looked at many forums and in doing so i def know not to use the gain as a volume knob. Also it's a ported box. I can't remember the volume, but i think it was like a lil over 4 or so.

well the debate isn't if i think they suck or not. i never said they were good, and i know how most feel about them. but if you fill like paying for me an amp of your choosing feel free. But thanks to those who've been constructive in trying to help me.
