My friend just got a new alpine type x and we were just wondering if we put 1000 watts rms to it will he need a high output alternator? He has a 2000 ford contour.
well we dont have it yet but we were just wondering. If I use my multimeter would I just check the positive and negative lines to see if the voltage meters?
Well you can do it that way and see how low your voltage drops or if it's night you can usually see it through your headlights dimming or blinking due to the amp's current draw.
