how do u know what your box is tuned to and how do u tune it? pretty confused

tuning is dependent on the length, width, and hight of the port and the amount of air in the box :-) any help after this will be done by others

You have to determine tuning BEFORE construction. It's a combination of enclosure volume and port(s) lengths and widths. Sealed is a good choice for beginners. There are many box/port tuning sites out there. Which will follow.
