i am running six 12" alpine type R subs off of a MA audio hk4000d. At nearly 4000 watts rms my battery and alternator cant keep up also i have a five farad power acoustic capacitor. And i was wondering what would be the best for my system.
I am debating between two kinetik hkc2000 or either four xstatic 800 or four xstatic 400 batcaps. I am not sure what would be best any suggetions?

thanks,
matt

In a up-to-par electrical system, a capacitor is best used for the isolation of distortion caused by AC ripple. This can add unwanted sound to the system as well as increase resistance in your grounding system.

do you think a H/O alternator would be enough on its own or should a add a kinetik hkc2000 battery in the back?
