Today I was at a friends house in upstate mass
i heard multiple subs ... that some of you might have heard some u havent but heres my reviews

(2) 12 inch jl w3v3 3.5 ported tuned to 32 hz ... JL Audio 500/1
- decent spl output
- sq is ok
- good musical woofer however, better then previous model

FI Car Audio SSD 12.. kicker zx 750.1 ported 34hz flatwind coil i believe
- great sq
- good spl
- low end was decent
- high notes decent

and my favorite

6 Assassin 12s zx 2500 ... sealed in a montero
sounded amazing .. loud .. those assassin 12s are beefy as fcuuuuuuuuuk

but thats all i have to say :-)

Nice to hear about the SSD, that is a nice setup so it's not surprising. I don't know what Ascendant is thinking or doing, but as they continue to lag on updating the lines they are losing unbelievable amounts of money a month, because there are tons of people wanting assassins and arsenals. Good job Mike.

6 12's vs 2 12's is hard to compare, the sound will be more beefy with 4 more subs..I have heard the assassins, they do sound good but they are more on the level of a CVR than a ssd or w3. IMO

put them in a good install and it will blow alot of subs away

case you didnt know a CVR will blow away a w3v3 in output.

i got the jl 12w3v2's and i think they sound very clean but on the other hand i havent heard a lot of good subwoofers so that may be why

two 10's will be fine for rap right..is there a huge different bewteen two 12's and two 10's with the same model such as the fi Q..will it stil have decent bass for rap
