sorry this isnt h/u section but we all know this gets the traffic. lately ive been thinkin about an in-dash dvd instead of regular cd h/u but i have some questions. im looking at the pioneer AVH-P5700dvd
1)How is the SQ on these for normal music listening?
2)Could i enhance that by buying an external EQ (i was looking at the pioneer DEQ-7600)
3)If yes to above, how would i hook that up to the dvd player and/or the amps?

Yeah. That's the point of those products. You can buy a line driver to bump the voltage (if you think it's necessary) and add the processor and EQ. With those add-ons it's very possible to make any HU sound great.
