make sure all the paint is scraped off to where u grounded it so it is metal to metal. My first amp kept doing it because i grounded it on top of paint and it wasnt metal to metal

What amp do you have?
What subs, VC cofig?
What other stuff you got in your setup?
Does your amp share power through a disto block?
Did anyone change your gain settings?
Check inside the amp for loose components, and or possible shorts.
Also check all your speaker wiring with a fine toothed comb (very carefully and thoroughly, lol).
