What kind of box is yours in (if ported) and whats it tuned to? I had 1 (12")in a 2.8 cubes @ 35hz but I wanna go lower. I'll have 2 Q's soon and I'm thinking 5 cubes box @ 30 or 32hz but not sure.

Yeah thanks yanks! Except my plan was to tune in the low 30s anyways so I'm tryin to decide on 30 or 32.

well i haven't heard it at any other tuning, but it sounds great to me. it picks up every low note you throw at it, but thats probably because its an 18"...

depends on what size lol. 12" with 3.0 cubes tuned to 22-47 hertz. (3) 4" aero's but i built my custom plugs to tune... for the love of diy! the 15" is 4.5 cubes tuned to 32 hertz with 72 cu.in. of port area. gonna try the 18" later but i got a box designed at 8 cubes with 128 cu.in. tuned to 27 hertz. this' gonna be for the jeep!(just to play and test with...) initial set up when i have the moohla is 2 12" q's with 5 cubes with 80 cu.in. of port tuned to 28 hertz. heck... i just play with it and man im an addict! for the love of BASS! wheeeeeeeeee!

I got my 12" Q in just a regular 2.25cubes @ 33hz 4.25" flared port, but now i just made another box for the heck of it and im really impressed with how it sounds at 44 hz 2.1 cubes and 47.25 sqin of port area, it hits the high bass notes so hard in my little car, but ya im gonna make anotha box tuned low but maybe it will sound better louder with more port area, it still sounded really good with that flared port.

Anybody ever run the Q15 in a sealed box? Scott says the accuracy is great but it still hits pretty hard. For me I think SQ + a little SQL + mostly rock music = sealed.
