for that amount of money you can get a 12" type R or some Assassins. If your going to do something, do it right the first time. why waste your money.

even if you are a beginner, it doesnt mean you cant buy something decent or even good...

give a budget and ideas of what exactly you want (loudness or sound quality) and the people here @ ecoustics will hook you up bro!

build a sealed box yourself, then find an old sub on ebay. others here would now the older good stuff better than i.

Funny. Once I saw Target in the link above, I knew it had to be a gas.

i have a 12" version of that sub hooked to a 500 watt max amp and it sound good in my car. it gets to 125 db. after awhile it starts to hurt. in the right box and right amp it will sound good. i like the fusion subs .

Target is an awesome store. Cleaner than Walmart, closer to me than anything else, and I like red better than blue anyways.

Seriously. You really can get ok subs in some places. Entry level by definition, and affordable. No doubt someday you'll be shopping in those same stores you bought those subs in and think: "Those were the days".....but you wouldn't do it again.

Trust me.
