this amp power one alpine type r? noob quesiton i know. but will it.
it says:
500 Watts RMS (2 x 250 Watts RMS) @ 2 Ohms Stereo
the type r is dual 4 500rms

i just need to know if that will put out 500rms or 250 rms for the sub at 2 ohm. he has less than 100.

that amp won't work cause your sub is dual 4ohm. if you bridge that amp you are looking at a 4ohm load which your sub can't do. if you do vc to each channel it won't work cause your each vc on the sub is 4ohms and that amp is 2 ohm each channel.

alrite thanks chad. i wasnt sure how it would work with the 2 channel amp. im only familair with mono channel amps
