OK im selling my l7 12" because i wanna upgrade a lil what in detail should i purchase?

upgrade as in better sq (which wont be hard to do) or spl? and a little more info. would be nice, as in budget, how many/size of subs, your vehicle, etc. and you going to buy a new amp to?

i dunno the l7 doesn't put out enough spl the sq is decent but could be better its going in my 97 monte carlo(which has a nice big trunk), budget really doesn't matter that much, and yes im going to buy a new amp

ha its a hifonics titan 750 rms its a perfect amp for the 1 L7 but im just selling the whole system to a friend so i need to find out what i can get

so the l7 didn't have enough spl for you but you thought it's sq was decent? wow, i'd have guessed it the other way around.

ignore that list, posted all that when i saw you say you really didn't have a budget. just read you now have a budget of $800, is that just for the sub?

well like it wasn't earth shattering bass but when it hit the lower freq(for a sub) it sounded great

under powering? the rms is 750 for the sub and the amp max's rms is 750

no around 800 to 1000 for the whole package sub(s) amp box etc

hifonics overrates their amps so at a steady 14.4v you probably saw about 550-600wrms. and if you meant the amps max power was 750wrms then it would be even worse. always look for rms, never peak.

maybe some alpine type Rs, they are cheap and loud...
