2-10 inch Alphasonik Q-Reference Series Subs in a pre-made box. powered by an Alphasonik 350watt (220rms) mono amp...not the best in the world, but I miss it now, cause I really want my BASS back. Wife made me sell it, after my battery died. She blamed it on the system

my first was when i was 16 (7 years ago):

2 12" kicker Comps (like from 1980....lol)
300 watt majestic amp

looking back on that system i have no clue how it worked, i didnt know anything about wiring options and even what a remote wire was.

my buddy hooked it up and wired the remote to a fuse that was on when the car was on, that ended up burning out the fuse hole and fu*cking up the heater. So for a couple winters i have no heat and I live in Michigan, it gets cold.....

Hmmm, let me dust off the waaay back machine, lol. My first system was before they had amplifiers as we know them, them were call power boosters! I had an audiovox HU with cassette (top of the line) mechanical eject and FF/RW. I also had a 50W under dash power booster that ran into a Pyramid 5 band parametric EQ with flashing red lights and stock 1983 Buick Regal (GM) speakers, lol. Funny thing was it sounded good at that time! At that time we didn't have the subs we have now, most were home speakers thrown in a car in the back seat, really.. Polo. :-O

Funny thing is I never paid for anything, my uncle john use to get stuff that was ganked from others, all the wires would be ripped out and sh!t. It was all trial and error hooking up, that is how I learned, many a fried radio. Got to where I was able to pull the cover off and find the power supply wires as to keep from frying them then I would play music and touch the wires to the speaker wires in the car to sort out the channels, lol! Those were the good days when "O SH!T" usually just meant either there was a cop coming down the block or you just reverse polaritied a ganked sound system and it is smoking to all hell in the car, LMFAO!!

-pioneer deh-435. FREE with the car
-one of my uncles stock speakers from his truck i think. FREE
-4" front speakers. stock

in a '94 chevy tracker i paid $50 for lol. the ppi is being pushed by the rear right channel on the hu. and my uncles old speaker is runnin off the rear left.

hopefully im gettin a panasonic cq7203u for xmas and i ordered an ads 245ix compenent set for $85 off sound domain. then im gonna save up for an sx700.4 and an assassin 12. should be alright when im done.

My VERY, VERY own system in my VERY, VERY own car...

... was in my 1980 Buick Century - four door, illegal limo tint in the back windshield and rear passenger windows, super huge trunk and cab!!

I bought a pair of 15" Cerwin Vega's. I was told that they were free air subs... who knows? ... in a box that was carpeted on all sides but one - instead of the wood and carpet, one panel was thick fiberglass so you could see the subs from the side. At that time... it looked TOUGH! lol
It was sealed, and super huge!
Too huge for my trunk... I put it in the back seat and told people I only had room for one passenger in the back (passenger limits and rules!!! - lol). Anyways, I bought them babies for $100.00 literally at my bedroom window (both subs and box) I tested them out on a house stereo. lol
Then, once I got those... girlfriend, at the time,'s slammer brother went all out and brought me a 400 watt Kenwood amp... installed... for only a couple of quarters! $30 lol

Don't Assume!!!!
Thank you.
lol

Anyway, it was all hooked up to an Alpine tape deck - and I have to say that although it sounded sh!tty, that deck did make it pound nice. Then, the tweeker brother traded it for a "diiigggggital" Audiovox with a "deeeeettaaaaaachable face". (ooooooh look at the pretty lights... ) all without my permission, of course, while I was working.

That freaking head unit was the worst in the freakin world! God I was mad.

Not that it mattered, though - the g@y wad stole it all from me within less than a month.
B@stard!! I knew it was him, too... he denied it like a crazy pathalogical... (ugh, ugh)... I'm over it... (clears throat)

lol
