Need help fuse holder?

I was driving around playing my music as usual and it just cut off. I knew what the proble was so i checked the fuse connected to the batt. It was blown but after i replaced it i still get no power to the amp.

did you check the fuses on the amp.. if you had a fuse that was rated too high on the inline fuse under the hood it might have allowed enough to reach the amp duren the spike before it blew and that would mean check the amp fuses

if i knew everything was hooked up right the first thing i would look at would be the fuses on the amp so do that first then get back to me

the fuses on the amp are good. when i checked the fuse holder it was slightly melted at one end.

is it one of those cheap scosche like plastic fuse holders?? if so thats not good.. i had one melt and short out thus burning up my alternator.. NOT good.. get a good ANL fuse holder and fuse... Scorpion and Tsunami make soem good ones cheap..
