Best SPL 10?

I just picked up a 98 Jeep Cherokee, nate I will need to order an alternator at some point. Anyway I am lookin to do 4 10's aimed at the back glass so it will be angled up. Now my question is which would be the best 10's to go with. I will be purchaseing an amp according to which 10's I buy. So in each of your opinions which 10's do you like for competition? I know 10's are alittle different for comp but thats what I like is having something different that surprises everybody. Any feedback is cool, thanks guys. |

Gold Member Username: DrsmithMontana USA Post Number: 1721 Registered: Nov-04 | budget lol, but if you really want to compete go with DD 99z's they are about 5k a piece i think and then like 2 z2's a piece which are about 2500 or so a piece, good spl set up right there. you would probably set a world record in your class |

Is this not the case? I want to make the box a slot port as I swear by them for SPL. |

I had just got a new pair couple months ago, they are the TS-2504SPL's 2500max 1000wrms! Nice subs too!! |

How about 2 RE MX 12's in the back of the Jeep with the WCC amp in a ported box. Think I can jump up over 150dbs with that? That is my goal for this seaon is jumping over 150 dbs. I hit 145.6 with 1 15 last year in my eclipse so I'd like to take it that much farther in my Jeep. Opinions? Obviously I will need acouple batteries and bigger alternator. |
