Do you need rca's(low output)if you use a dimmer(high output) switch to turn your amp down gradually

rcas are low input! some amps have both low input and high input. the high input allows you to connector wires directly from your speakers L + R to get a signal to amplify! this way you do not need to use rcas cables...

now your question about the "dimmer" are you refering to a PAC or LOC interface ?

actually i was reffering to a bass boost control remote...would one of these work instead of rcas.?
