Ok, the guy i bought my DD9512s from said he missed the bass and decided to get something new, so he got a JL 10w3, idk if its the v2 or not, but its Dual 2ohm. I was wondering, how much power to use, what kinda box?
If I can build him a good box for it he's gunna ship me some stuff free.
Ok. So lets say 400rms, ill prolly go ported tho, keep in mind hes comin from a pair of DD9512s with roughly 3500rms, and now hes getn 1 10. I'm thinkn he still wants some spl, and the SQ wont b bad ported to like 33hz would it?
can't remember exactly but i want to say about 1.25cuft. each, maybe a little more. but mine were 12"s. there not the loudest, i'd say between a kicker comp. and cvr, but sounded alot better than both.
