Can anyone tell me if the Panasonic Model CQ-DF202 needs the illumination wire. I tried hooking mine up without it because the connector i bought for the deck was missing that wire and I didn't get anything. Can anyone else think of what might be my problem. I am installing it into a 1989 ford taurus and i have the proper wiring harnesses for that model of car and when i put the factory deck back in it worked.
