I got an MTX 421D amp and two 10" audiobahn DVC subs 4 OHM, 300Watt (they are a few years old). Whats the best way to wire this up? here's the specs on the amp:

- 210 watts x 1 at 4 ohms
- 420 watts x 1 at 2 ohms
- Adaptive Class D Technology
- 85 Hz low-pass crossover, 18 dB/octave
- Preamp outputs
- PWM MOSFET switching power supply
- Gain control
- Thunder EQ bass boos
- Speaker-level inputs with SmartEngage

Thanks.

no ideal way to wire 2 4+4 DVC subs to a mono amp that is only 2 ohm stable. sorry.
either get a pair of single coil 4 ohm subs, or a two channel amp.

hey can some one tell me the diffrence between a crap azz speaker that ''claims'' to be 700 watts and a name brand speaker that is 250 watt but the crap azz cost almost 1/2 the price for more watts [this is an example]

didnt i already respond to this exact same thread a couple days ago, and explain the whole situation of wiring dual and single 4 ohm subs and the load they would present to the amp
