Inverted and subs facing up

Does inverting a sub campen its sound alot? What are the pros and cons to doing it? What about subs firing up? does that affect their sound. I did it once and I thought it did but i wasnt sure

Thanks rovin... anything on the facing upwards? I know steve meade doesnt have a problem with it but (dont laugh) when i had tw crossfre 12s i laid them facing upwards and could see a lot of difference in output they sounded much softer... i aslo faced the sideways instead on towards teh hatch and that made the subs much quieter... any idea why?

acoustics of your vehicle, bro... keep aiming em until you get it right!
my advise is: keep em as far to the back of the vehicle as possible... the further back the better. then, play with your aim... you'll get it right!
Oh, and by the way, I prefer inverted!

word... i thnk i might invert my sub if i get the audioque or the BTL
