I just find out the P1500.1 has a 100 amp fuse so that tell you it will not do 1500 watts at 1 ohm. For every 10 amp fuse you can produce about 90 to 100 watts.

ya thast the same thing. The amp has no fuses. You have to put a fuse on the power wire, within 18 inches of the amp or so. Its recommending a 100a fuse, i dont know why. But you dont have to fuse the amp. You can just fuse the power wire like normal, and thats it.

i read on ROE or Car audio forum from some dude who really seemed to know his sh!t that the little 100 watts per 10 amps thing is BS

but i duno for sure, but i would love to see an intelligent argument backing that up so i could understand it more

Haha you have no idea. All you have to do is look at the pics of the p1500. The amp has no fuses. Lots of really good amps have no fuses. You just fuse them close to the amp, within 12 inches or w/e and thats how its done.

The amp CAN produce 1500rms even with a 100a fuse externally. Fuses will take awhile to blow anyways. I think that they say use a 100a fuse is that so if something comes up, the fuse will blow first. So they are covering their a*sses if anything.

Marshall White ran a jbl1201.1 with a 80a fuse and was metering 147s...so do you even know what your talking about?

This will back it up for you Drsmith.

I was just talking to marshall white a little bit ago..... A 100a fuse wont blow when it has 100+a passed through it. It will take a lot of time + current to blow. Eventually it will blow, if it isnt adequate size, but yes you can get 1500rms out of it.
