Silver Member Username: FrkkevinLake Worth, Texas US Post Number: 641 Registered: Nov-05 | ^^ .. with retuning and new box designs and that amount of power you can see more than 145s.. its a pain and all trial and error. best thing to do is put your sub in a sealed box and get it metered to find the resonant frequency of your car then tune your next box to that.. its a pain .. have to meter inside and outside the car and well im not quite sure hows its done but someone on here can tell you .. waiting to do that to my car before i build a new box so im working on a new backplate and floating amp rack for my amp |

Gold Member Username: StnorrisIA US Post Number: 1329 Registered: Apr-06 | drivin there is something wrong with your sh*it. and its definantly your box. you need to start over, and build a box with subwoofertools or another program. you should have 100 or more sq. in. of port area with a sub with such a high xmax. i bet if you put in the xmax on the subwoofertools.com, it will givey you a port area of lke 120 sq. in. thats a realy good site too. you only have like 50sq.in. thats what im running on my ssi, and i think that is also my problem. |

I have done 148.0dB w/ 2 L5 15's on a 1000w amp. First try! I guessed at the trucks res. freq. and tuned to 50hz, we peaked at 54hz. 2) RF T3002 doing 827w...bull sh1t! If RF thinks they can tell people that, they can kiss my @$$. I can see ~500w, but 800+! They must not have the intelligence to realize that current and voltage are out of phase w/ one another and they check for amplifier power w/ all meters on "peak hold". 3) driving, hit me w/ an email...i may be able to help ya out. 4) Pipo is a crazy mudafuka....lmao ---end rant*--- *disclaimer, till next time |
