I have a '92 Caprice and i'm trying to decide what amps to purchase. I just bought 2 DD9515 4ohm subs. i'm going the sq route. i haven't bought anything else sound system wise because i have all the time in the world to get this perfect. i don't want to break the bank but the only requirement is the amp(s) have to be durable. thanks for the advice.

It would be perfect if they are dual 4ohm like you said.

that's good to hear. i guess that's a good start. that way if i need more power i can just upgrade later. another question though. has RF's build quality gone down in the last couple generations of amps or is the power series still the way to go. i just don't want to spen $1500 on a problem.

but seriously... you can run 2 1 ohm stable amps such as kicker kx 1200, ED nine 1... many others and you can get 3000w rms cheaper than buying the RF.... just an idea.

But seriously you can get soundstream pca 3500d (not the same SQ as rockford but you won't notice the difference that much cuz an amp just amplifies... remember that... when it comes to amp is all about power supply... if theyre both good just get the cheapest lol!)
