last week-153.8dB
this week-154.5dB

i just tweaked with the amps and HU. no extra power and nothing different to the box.

both numbers were hit using a 43hz tone and the box is tuned to 35hz.

loud.

Ya but with a 35hz tune you should still be able to play plenty of other types of music, just tone it down a notch, lol. Polo..

Jake - so your the one with the eD's. what do you think about them?? been trying to find some reviews or something on eD's stuff, but can't. its either one raving about how its the only brand they will ever use or they are bashing the hell out of them....completely biased, lol.

brandon, i love the NINe.1 amps. for the price they are very hard to beat, and the warrenty is great. i have the 16OV.2 subs and they get pretty loud but lack some sq that i thought would be there. i have it tuned to 35hz tho so it would be interesting to see what they would do tuned a little lower but building a new box for them is quite a task. in my opinion they sound similar to the RE SEs.

thanks Jake. i was looking at either model OV's or the K's. looking for straight SQ, but couldn't find any info on them. prices are great, warranty is nice, customer service i've read is questionable and build quality the same. look really simular to ID's ID line and i've heard eD's subs are or were made by ID. i'd be running sealed with whatever i end up getting. 35hz and ported isnt really set up for SQ imo.

decided on some IDQ's, although i haven't bought any yet so it could still change, lol. always tempted to get other stuff to try it out, but just don't have the money to blow doing that, lol.

Brandon if you want straight sq look into the boston G5s. they sound sick, i think youll love them.

also, the customer service from ED was very good when i got my stuff. when designing a box, i called them up and they were very helpful and they were even willing to send me some plans of boxes theve done with 4 subs. also i ordered them on a friday and they were at my house by tuesday...which was quick imo.

nice, was just reading the review on the 13Ov.2 on their site. interesting stuff and they sound good. i've seen thoes bostons, but never really heard them in a deceint setup. not really into boston as of receint. everything they have out is always lacking something imo, lol.

eD's new flat cone 10's look nice too. wonder how they will hold up this time around.

yeah ED could really explode here if they keep lowering there prices and comming out with above average stuff. my friend just order two of the 19ov.2s im excited to see how they sound. $250 for an 18inch sub that does 1000rms is extremely low price wise.
