Ok i got 2 12" kicker l7's in a ported box and i hooked it up and i cant even turn the bass up pass quarter way withouth it cutting out its so horrible, I even upgraded my ampkit to a 2 guage cuz i had this problem b4 and it still does it? an other ideas. Could it have anything to do with my alternator not letting me turn the bass up to loud cuz it could ruin it or anything i really need this straigthend out cuz i had a 15" L7 1000rms and it was perfect but i wanted a lil more power so i got 2 12" l7 1500rms but i cant even turn my bass up.

did it just start to happen when you got this new amp? if you put your old amp back in does it work fine? just to let you know that going from 1000 watts to 1500 watts will only get you about 1.5 db increase which is barely audible. It's really not worth the hastle.

yes it did it with the 1000 rms amp to its just as soon as i switched from 1 15" L7 to 2 12" L7's it hasnt been working right. the amp is a zx1500.1 mono and the subs r 2 12" Kicker L7 Dual 2-ohm both in 1 box together

are you sure they are wired correctly? sounds like it is sending the amp into protection. better make sure they are wired series/parellel

yea it should be wired correctly im pretty sure not postive tho, idk it seems to much of a hazzle for me so what if i would go back to my 1 15" L7 how would teh zx1500.1 go with that becuz i dont really wanna go back and by another zx1000.1 and resell my stuff and so on its to much work. do u think i would blow sub if i hooked the 15" to the zx1500.1?

just take the sub's out and check the wiring. http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/wiringwizard.asp?WoofQty=2+woofers&WoofImp =Dual+Voice+Coil+-+2+ohms+x+2
wire them like option # 2
