well i have a jeep grand cherokke and it has a 5.2 liter v8 with a high-output 150-amp alternator. whats the max amount of watts rms i could put on that and thanks a lot

the max u should put on it is 1000 rms but id put 2000 on it

150A X 13.8V = 2070 watts max

but that doesn't take into consideration the what the car itself needs. generally its said 40-50 amps are needed for the car. so that'll cut you back to around 1400 watts you can pull.

also doesn't consider the effiency of the amps.

Are you shure 50 amps to run everything im my car seems like not that much i mean i got power seats mirrors 360 watt factory amp power steering tcs scs tons of sh*t idk maybe it does but 50 amps just seems low to me i was thinking maybe 60 to 70 but idk. its just my guess.
