I own two 4 ohm 12' kicker L7's, my question is if i can use a Hifonics BXi 1606D amp to power them. Is it possible to wire the two subs to the amp so that they split the 1600 rms 1 ohm load that the amp is capable of producing. The subs run at 750 RMS, any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
the amp is not going to put 1500w rms that's for sure but yeah, the amp can power those subs pretty good... underpowering by less than 100w is not a big issue, you just need to adjust the gain to your preout voltage
